A NEW DUCATI motorcycle dealership has opened in Ashford, coinciding with the launch of the manufacturer's latest sportsbike, the 999.
World superbike racer Rubens Xaus officially opened the facility at Signpost Corner which has doubled in size to provide the new showroom, called Ducati Ashford.
The 999 is the all-new successor to the iconic 916 generation which, like its predecessor, has unique and dramatic styling.
It also has a new chassis, instrumentation and, crucially, a more road orientated riding position.
Dennis Markham, of Ducati Ashford, believes the 999 will appeal to a wider range of riders while enhancing Ducati's reputation for cutting edge sporting ability.
The new showroom is also home to the complete Ducati range as well as branded clothing and accessories.
Signpost Corner also continues to be the dealership for Aprilia and Kawasaki motorcycles.
