The entrance to Ashford Designer Outlet was shut as emergency services responded to concerns for a person’s welfare.

Police, fire and ambulance crews were all called to the site in Kimberley Way just after 1pm.

The person was located and passed into the care of healthcare professionals.

The road was closed while the incident was dealt with but fully reopened shortly after 2pm.

One fire engine also attended alongside a height vehicle and the technical rescue unit.
