M20 closed between Junctions 9 and 10 in Ashford for emergency road repairs

Drivers faced long delays after a two-mile stretch of the M20 was closed for emergency road repairs.
Highways England shut the coastbound route between Junctions 9 and 10 in Ashford at about 3pm.
Contractors were seen working on the carriageway as repairs were needed to the second and third lanes.
Long delays built up in Ashford during the closure, but the road reopened at about 4.30pm.
