ASHFORD-based electrical contractors GW & E Wright Ltd has taken delivery of 21 Peugeot Partner vans from Rootes of Maidstone.

The company works with mainstream building companies and needed to replace its fleet with practical ‘work-horse’ vehicles which were also easy to drive and comfortable for their staff.

Mark Simpson, fleet manager at GW & E Wright Ltd, said: “After testing out various makes and models, we decided on the Peugeot Partner because of its flexibility and adaptability to meet our work requirements. As electrical contractors, we need vehicles which can carry a variety of materials, are practical, easy to load and unload, as well as having all the comforts to make life better for our drivers - the Partner fitted the bill perfectly."

All 21 vans are finished in red with the company’s livery as well as being boarded out and fitted with deadlocks and roof-bars.

Nigel Ward, Peugeot fleet corporate account manager, said: “We have an unbeatable range of vans, especially now the new Boxer has been introduced. We believe that our range of 206 Van, Partner, Expert and Boxer offers something for everyone.’’

The Peugeot Partner has an 800 kg payload and a load volume of three cubic metres.
