Police appealing for information after bike robbery in Beaver Road, Ashford

The police are appealing for information following a robbery in Ashford.
It is reported that on Monday, April 9, between 4-6pm a 14-year-old boy was approached by an unknown man as he rode a bike in Beaver Road between 4pm and 6pm.
The man, who is described as being in his late teens or early 20s, then threatened the boy and stole a white Specialized Stumpjumper that he was riding.
The matter was not reported to the police until last Friday.
Officers would like to speak with anyone who witnessed the incident or who may have information on the bicycle’s whereabouts.
