Police have appealed for information to track down a convict who has gone missing after breaching the terms of his license for release.

Joseph Heavey, from Hastings, is wanted for recall to prison after he was jailed for 14 months earlier this year.

The 26-year-old was jailed for false imprisonment earlier this year, and is believed to have links to both Hastings and to Ashford.

He is described as white, six feet tall, of slim build with short fair hair and blue eyes. Anyone with information as to his whereabouts is asked to report it online or email 101@sussex.pnn.police.uk and quote serial number 69 of 15/11.
