Robbery at McColl's Stanhope Court, Ashford

A robbery suspect who raided a newsagent while claiming to have a knife has been arrested by police.
Officers were called to the McColl’s shop in Stanhope Court at 9.40pm yesterday after the reports a man had threatened staff and stolen cash.
The man left the shop and went in the direction of Crundale Close.
Police enquiries led them to the arrest of a 29-year-old man in the early hours this morning, where he was held in custody.
