Emergency services called to Hythe Road, Ashford, after two cars collide

Police officers are currently at the scene of a two-car smash in Ashford.
The collision was reported at 2.53pm, along Hythe Road at the cross-roads with Church Road, near Smeeth.
It is not known how many passengers were travelling in the cars, or whether anyone was transferred to hospital, but ambulance crews were in attendance.
Fire crews from Ashford also assisted, and made the scene safe.
The two vehicles have now been removed from the road.
Officers are still present at the scene.
