A police helicopter was scrambled twice in the same weekend after a reported chase and then to hunt down a suspected burglar.
Residents in South Ashford and Great Chart reported hearing the NPAS helicopter in the early hours of Sunday morning.
The Kent Police RPU team said they pursued a man in a stolen car, and said he was a suspect in "multiple burglaries".
Inside the car they found items which they believe show he was equipped to steal from further properties.
The arrest follows a reported police chase around the A2042 in Ashford and the Knight's Park housing estate on Saturday.
Residents reported seeing officers with sniffer dogs in Britannia Lane, and also heard the police helicopter overhead.
