Ashford One Stop robbery suspects charged

Police have charged a second man on suspicion of robbing a convenience store.
Officers were called after the raid on the One Stop store off Beaver Lane in South Ashford at 10.30pm on Wednesday, April 19.
It was reported that two masked men entered the shop and threatened staff, before stealing cash from the till and two crates of beer.
The next day officers arrested 23-year-old Reuben Garland, of no fixed address, and charged him in connection with the offence.
Now police say they have charged 35-year-old Darryl Stubbs, of no fixed address, in connection with the robbery and for possessing a knife.
Mr Stubbs is set to appear for a remand hearing at Medway Magistrates’ Court today while Mr Garland will appear at Canterbury Crown Court on Monday, May 15.
