Missing man found safe at Conningbrook Lakes in Ashford after police helicopter joins search

A police helicopter was seen circling over a town for hours as part of a search for a missing person.
Officers received a report that the man had gone missing in Ashford yesterday at 4.10am.
Kent Police carried out a search with assistance from the National Police Air Service helicopter and located the man safe in the Conningbrook Lakes area at around 8.50pm.
He was passed into the care of medical professionals.
