A driver is being sought by police after making off from a crash early on Christmas Day.
Firefighters were called to the A20 Barrow Hill in Sellindge at 3am after a van crashed into a tree.
Watch manager Mark Thomas, from Ashford fire station, said: “There was only one vehicle involved and the driver had left the scene.
“I would be very surprised if they were not injured. We just made the scene safe.”
Police are looking for the driver.
