Police are hunting for two robbers who barged into the home of an elderly man before rummaging through drawers and wardrobes for cash and valuables.
The suspects rang the doorbell at the property in the Bybrook Road area of Ashford at 6.15pm on Sunday, November 15.
When the elderly man opened the door he was barged into a bedroom and pushed on the floor, suffering injuries to his wrist and hands.
The pair began searching through the man’s drawers and wardrobes, but left empty handed a short while later.
They are described as white men around 6ft tall, wearing hooded tops with the hoods up. One was of stocky build while the other was of a smaller build.
Police launched house-to-house enquiries and carried out forensic examinations at the scene, and have now appealed for witnesses.
Anyone with information which could help identify the suspects is asked to contact Detective Constable Natasha Russell on 01843 222289 quoting reference ZY/36299/15.
Alternatively, anyone with information who wishes to remain anonymous can call Kent Crimestoppers on 0800 555111.
