Robbery at junction 9 M20 Ashford

An elderly couple were robbed on the motorway after being flagged down by a car with blue flashing lights.
The incident, near junction 9 of the M20 in Ashford, was reported to the police after the couple were stopped on a slip road at 10.40pm on Tuesday, October 12.
Three men threatened the couple, who were driving a white refrigerated van on the coastbound slip road at the junction.
They made off with a handbag with cash inside and also stole personal documents, before driving off in the direction of Trinity Road.
Police have appealed for witnesses and anyone with information about the incident to come forward.
The suspects’ were driving a grey or white saloon car.
One suspect is described as being white, between the age of 25 and 20, 5ft 4ins tall with a slim build and short brown hair. He wore dark sportswear.
The second suspect is described as white, also between the age of 25 and 30, 6ft tall with a heavy build and short brown hair.
The third suspect is described as being white, between the age of 45 and 50, with a medium build.
