Police called to Ashford International station in search for man with ‘bladed weapon’

Police searched a railway station following reports a man was carrying a bladed weapon.
Officers from British Transport Police were called to Ashford International just before 9.20pm last night.
A full area search was conducted, including around the neighbouring Stour Centre, and officers were assisted by Kent Police.
Nothing was found but inquiries into the incident are ongoing.
