Kent Police close A2070 between A259, near Brenzett, and A2042, near Ashford, following crash

The busy A2070 in Ashford that was closed in both directions this morning by police has now re-opened.
It was shut between the A259, near Brenzett, and the A2042, near Ashford, following a two-vehicle crash in the Ruckinge area.
Police attended and Highways England advised drivers to allow extra time for their journeys.
Police said no one had been seriously hurt in the crash, which happened shortly before 1am.
A spokesman said: "No serious injuries have been reported but the road was closed for the vehicles to be recovered and the debris to be cleared."
At 5.40am a Highways England spokesman said: "The A2070 is closed in both directions between the A259, near Brenzett, and the A2042, near Ashford, due to an incident.
"Kent Police are currently in attendance.
"Road users are being diverted locally and may wish to allow extra time for their journey."
Highways England said there are no delays on the road now.
