Popular discount store Home Bargains has confirmed it will move into Warren Retail Park, in Ashford.
The chain is set to take over the closing Poundland unit and a spokesman for the company said they are on track to open on May 20.
She said they were excited about the new store and will advertise new positions in the local job centre in the coming weeks.
Home Bargains will replace Ashford's newest Poundland shop, which will shut for good on Wednesday, just eight months after it opened.
In the run-up to closure the shop is holding a 'closing down sale', with signs in the window saying 'all stock must go' and offering customers 25% off all remaining stock.
Poundland replaced previous occupant Family Bargains in May 2016, a home discount store much alike to Home Bargains.
Under the trading name TJ Morris, Home Bargains is headquartered in Liverpool but the chain already has outlets in Folkestone, Canterbury and Maidstone.
