A man was hit by a car and then punched in the face by the driver, sparking a police investigation.
Officers were called to Bybrook Road in Kennington, Ashford, after receiving reports at man had been assaulted.
The victim was taken to William Harvey Hospital for treatment following the incident on Saturday.
The attack happened just before 8.30pm but the suspect had left the area before officers arrived.
On the day before the incident, a Vauxhall Corsa was set on fire in the early hours on Tadworth Road just off Bybrook Road.
