Ashford: Probe after woman reports being raped in Sussex Avenue

A woman is reported to have been raped in a late-night sex attack in Ashford.
The victim was said to have been assaulted at about 10.30pm on Sunday in Sussex Avenue close to the town centre.
Detectives are reviewing CCTV and officers were seen in an alleyway off Sturges Road yesterday evening.
One resident spotted police in Sturges Road.
She said: "A forensics team was in the alleyway in Sturges Road yesterday.
"There were lots of police cars down there; I was on a bike ride and saw police knocking on people's doors.
"At least five police cars were at the scene."
A police spokesman said: "Officers are currently in the area reviewing CCTV and carrying out inquiries in order to establish the circumstances of the incident."
