Road closed after crash on A251 near Challock, Ashford

Motorists are facing delays following a five-vehicle crash which saw a motorist hospitalised and closed a busy road near Ashford.
Police, fire and ambulance services attended the scene on the A251 just outside Challock.
The incident is believed to have involved four cars and a motorbike, and one woman has been taken to the William Harvey Hospital.
A KFRS spokeswoman said: KFRS was called to the A251, between Challock and Ashford, at 07:57 to reports of a crash involving four cars and a motorcycle.
"One fire engine attended and fortunately no one was trapped. Crews made the scene safe. SECAmb and Kent Police also attended"
A police spokesperson said: "Officers attended along with KFRS and SECAmb following a report of injuries. One woman was taken to a local hospital."
It is understood motorists are now being let through around the crash but there are delays in the area.
