Man taken to hospital after crash in Hamstreet

A man has been taken to a London hospital after a serious crash in Hamstreet.
The collision at around 6am led to the closure of Hamstreet Road, near Ashford, between the junction of Bromley Green Road and Capel Road.
Emergency services were called to the scene and a collision investigation, as well as recovery work, took place.
A police spokesman said earlier: "Kent Police is currently attending a report of a serious collision in Hamstreet Road, Ashford.
"Officers and paramedics were called to the scene at 5.47am.
"A man has sustained injuries and has been taken to a London hospital."
The road has since reopened.
