A main road is to be shut for two days while roadworks are carried out.
The Street in Kennington, Ashford , will close to through traffic during the day.
The closure, which will start on Saturday October 10, is planned to last from 8am to 6pm each day.
The road will be shut off to through traffic at the junctions of both Canterbury Road and Ulley Road, to allow for pot hole repairs on the road.
The alternative route for traffic travelling west will be via the A28 Canterbury Road, and then turning right onto the A2402 Faversham Road, and vice versa for motorists travelling east.
Access will still be allowed to properties on the road.
