In spring, The One Show presenter Roman visited the school to announce the good news and waved the pupils off on Monday, as they set sail.

Class teacher, Emma Chapman submitted a compelling 60-second video explaining why her group should win, beating hundreds of other entrants from across the UK.

Miss Chapman, her class and their families boarded the Disney Dream on Monday from Southampton and are now enjoying fun lessons and experiences designed by Disney professionals

The children will enjoy behind-the-scenes glimpses into the storytelling of Disney as well as interactive learning activities.

The crew is hosting drama lessons, science lessons, and PE classes, each led by a Disney character.

Miss Chapman, who is a huge Disney fan herself, entered the competition on behalf of her class after hearing about the competition from a parent of a pupil.

She was praised by judges at Disney for her fun and creative entry video.

The ship left England from Southampton and is heading towards La Rochelle in southwest France.

Each pupil was able to bring up to three friends or family members on the trip.
