Ashford's 'Roundabout Banksy' strikes again
14:10, 12 September 2017
Just six weeks after the last sculpture appeared, Ashford's 'Roundabout Banksy' has struck again - this time on the Drover's Roundabout.
The piece appeared sometime over the weekend and features a squirrel holding a love heart balloon, decorated with a distorted Union Jack.
This is the third mysterious art piece to appear on a busy Ashford roundabout, with the first being a swimmer chased by sharks on the Eureka Park roundabout and the second one a hare and carrot on Junction 9 roundabout.
All three pieces of artwork feature a sticker, or in this case a balloon, with the Union Jack on them - indicating that they are all by the same artist.
However, as of yet, nobody has claimed ownership of the art or explained what they actually mean.
