Work to install a new roundabout is to shut a dual carriageway for five nights this week.
Contractors are to close the A2070 Bad Munstereifel Road in Ashford from 10pm tonight until 6am tomorrow morning as part of the M20 junction 10a project.
The road will be closed for the same period every night until Friday.
The new roundabout - which traffic will be diverted on to after Christmas - will form part of the £104m junction project and is being built close to Sevington church.
It will connect the A2070 with a new two-way link road leading the new M20 junction, which is due to open to traffic in autumn 2019.
While the closures are in place this week, the Ashford Retail Park and Church Road will remain accessible for residents via the A2070.
Highways bosses say drivers will be escorted from Orbital Park roundabout as far as their turning off the A2070.
For all other traffic a signposted diversion will be in place, directing drivers along the A2042 and through the town centre.
