Two teenagers have been arrested after a street fight reportedly involving a samurai sword in South Ashford that left three people in hospital.
Officers were called to Christchurch Road, near fast food chain KFC, at lunchtime yesterday after being alerted to a report of assault.
It is believed at least three men were involved in the incident, who were all taken to the William Harvey Hospital.
Two of them have since been released from hospital.
Officers cordoned off the scene yesterday afternoon as crime scene investigators searched for clues.
A Kent Police spokesman said: "We are investigating a report of assault and the possibility that a samurai sword was used.
"Three men were injured, one of whom remains in hospital.
"Two men, aged 19 and 16, are in custody on suspicion of assault causing GBH."
