Jewellery burglary at Spelder's Hill, Brook, Ashford

Police have appealed for witnesses after a daylight burglary where a thief broke in and stole jewellery.
Officers were called to Spelder’s Hill at the village of Brook near Ashford after the break in between 10.30am and 1.20pm on Thursday, May 4.
They say the thieves smashed through a back door window to get inside the house and stole jewellery including gold rings, gold necklaces with purple and green stone pendants, and a Sekonda watch.
It follows a report of stolen jewellery at a property in Canterbury Road in Kennington between 9.30am and 2.30pm on the same day.
