A train hitting a tree has prompted railway delays.
Services heading to Ashford International via Maidstone East were cancelled this afternoon following the incident at 6pm.
The obstruction has been cleared and the line fully re-opened but 60-minute delays are said to be likely.
A Southeastern spokesman said: “The line has now fully re-opened following a train hitting a tree earlier today. Delays of up to 60 minutes and alterations are possible while we work to return to normal schedule.
Traffic specialists Inrix said at 5.45pm today: “No service on Southeastern between Ashford International and Swanley due to fallen tree on the line.”
Southeastern and the emergency services have been contacted for more information.
