Southern strike action back on
10:00, 19 January 2017
Strikes by Southern Railway guards and drivers in the Rail, Maritime and Transport union will go ahead next week.
The union says it's after it was excluded from talks between the company and Aslef - which has suspended its action.
RMT guards will walk out on Monday in their row over changes to the role.
The union also has a small number of members who drive Southern trains, who will strike on Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday.
It comes during a long-running dispute over driver-only trains.
Southern has now put drivers in sole control of the operation of the train, including closing the doors, on nearly 80% of routes.
