COMPLAINTS from the public to police about speeding motorcycles dominated the weekend for the emergency services in the Ashford and Weald area.
On Sunday bikes were reported racing on Bad Munstereifel and Sevington Roads from 8am and there were further complaints from residents in Biddenden. There were also reports of racing machines at Brenzett Corner on Romney Marsh.
There were two separate accidents. The first at 2.30pm involved two motorcycles and two people were injured. The second incident, around 5.30pm, involved one machine. The rider, an Ashford man, was taken to hopital with serious back in juries and later transferred to King's Collage Hospital in London.
Weald roads policing officer PC Peter Gilmore, said: "We will continue to monitor and enforce dangerous driving and nuisance motoring offences disclosed in line with policy on casualty reduction."
They want any witnesses to the weekend crashes to contact them on 01233 611055.
