A bus service has been interrupted after steam started billowing out of the engine vent.
Two fire engines were at the scene on West Street, Ashford, where the Stagecoach bus was stationary.
Firefighters were called just after 12.30pm.
A Stagecoach spokesman said: "The bus involved had a water leak onto its radiator which produced an impressive amount of steam.
"A member of the public called the fire service who attended but have now stood down.
"The bus was operating a route B service and the passengers on board transferred safely to continue their journey on buses from Bank Street or alighted there for the town centre."
More information as we get it.
