Stun gun and Class A drugs seized from home in Sotherton, Ashford

A hidden haul of Class A drugs and a stun gun have been seized from a home in Ashford.
Officers from the Divisional Support Unit in Folkestone made the discovery at a property in Sotherton, Ashford.
Quantities of heroin and crack cocaine were recovered, with some hidden in the floor and the loft.
The two men from Ashford, 46-year-old Gary Booth of Wellesley Road and Peter Baars, 52 of Sotherton, were arrested following the search on Friday.
They have each been charged with two counts of possessing Class A drugs with intent to supply and possession of a stun gun disguised as a torch.
After appearing Folkestone Magistrates’ Court on Saturday, they were remanded in custody.
They will next appear at Canterbury Crown Court on April 19.
