Taxi and Jaguar crash blocks road at Holiday Inn entrance on Canterbury Road, Kennington

A bus lane and hotel car park entrance is blocked after a crash between a Jaguar and a taxi.

The cars collided on Canterbury Road in Kennington, Ashford, just before 6pm and both vehicles appear to have suffered damage.

Witnesses said the main road was not blocked as a result but buses and taxis were having to join the rest of the traffic, rather than using their dedicated lane, to avoid the crash.

A police spokesman confirmed officers were at the scene of a two car collision and that one person was reporting injuries, not believed to be serious.
