Teen attacked in M&S food hall car park in Simone Weil Avenue

A teenager was kicked and punched by three thugs in an attempted robbery outside an M&S food hall.
The victim, who was in his late teens, was approached by the group outside the Ashford store off Simone Weil Avenue.
His bag was grabbed but the suspects ran away empty handed after the teenager refused to hand over his belongings.
The victim, who was attacked on Monday, October 29 at about 9.45pm, had walked along the Eureka Skyway footbridge and had reached the food hall car park when he was approached.
The group began shouting at him and tried to grab his bag.
Two of them were described as 6ft 2ins tall and wearing dark clothes with their faces covered.
The other was described as around 5ft 11ins tall.
The victim suffered facial injuries during the assault and went to the William Harvey Hospital for treatment.
Officers are reviewing CCTV and carrying out inquiries.
The M&S food hall is on the Warren Retail Park between Home Bargains and Office Outlet.
