A Tesco Extra store will remain open despite "a number" of positive Covid-19 cases among staff.
The supermarket giant says shoppers will not experience any break in service at the Ashford Crooksfoot site, which is next to Junction 10 of the M20.
A Tesco spokeswoman said: “A number of colleagues at our Ashford Crooksfoot Extra store have tested positive for Covid-19 in recent days and we are monitoring this closely in line with local increased transmission rates.
"Their close contacts have been informed.
"The safety of our colleagues, customers and suppliers remains our number one priority and we are working with local public health authorities, following all government guidance and taking the relevant precautions.
"We have extensive measures across all of our stores to help keep everyone safe, including protective screens at every checkout, social distancing signage and regular cleaning.”
