A gift shop which touted its products as having a "unique style that lasts" has closed down.

Timeless had been trading in the Park Mall shopping centre in Ashford, close to Wilko, for 18 months.

Owner Ian Williams had originally set up stop in Sandwich in 2009 before moving to Ashford.

He said: "I left because the council wanted me to take a long-term lease which I just couldn't do.

"We're looking into moving, but I don't think we're going to relocate to somewhere else in Ashford.

"We just didn't do as well as we had hoped."

The shop had sold a range of gifts including clocks, mirrors and sculptures.

In 2015, Ashford Borough Council bought Park Mall following months of detailed negotiations.
