A popular toy shop is shutting its doors after a dozen years of operation amid increased competition from rivals.
Kids Stuff Toys, situated on the lower floor of the County Square shopping centre in Ashford will cease trading on Sunday, September 23.
Sources close to the business say the franchise may have been forced to close due to new competition from rivals.
It has to compete against The Entertainer - which took over the former HMV unit in County Square - and a Smyths Toys Superstores on the Ashford Retail Park in Sevington.
Kids Stuff Toys originally opened on Ashford's High Street in 2006.
It relocated to its current shopping centre site in 2009 when County Square was extended.
Card prices have already been halved as part of the shop's closing down sale.
It won 'specialist multiple toy retailer of the year' at the 2017 Toy Awards.
The Sussex and Kent-based company has eight branches across the South East.
