M20 reopens after coastbound closure between Junction 9 and 10 for Ashford

Traffic was held on the M20 following a serious incident, but traffic is now moving freely
Police closed the 2.5-mile coastbound section between Junction 9 and 10 for Ashford at about 6pm.
Paramedics were also at the scene and queues backed up along the stretch as police dealt with the incident.
As of 6.50pm, the motorway was fully reopen and traffic moving freely.
The incident which has sparked the immediate closure happened near to Junction 10.
Police have been contacted for more information.
