Train passengers are continuing to face delays after a person was seen on the tracks.
Services including the high-speed line were suspended from Ashford International this morning.
A spokesman for British Transport Police said: “Officers were called to the line near Ashford at about 9.20am today following reports of a casualty on the tracks.
“Paramedics also attended and a person has been taken to hospital (William Harvey Hospital) with injuries not considered to be life-threatening or changing.”
Southeastern has confirmed power to the line had to be turned off while emergency services were in attendance.
Services were originally halted between Ashford and Charing shortly after 9.30am, followed by trains on the Maidstone East line.
Traffic monitoring specialist Inrix said all lines were affected with trains at a standstill shortly afterwards.
Southeastern has since confirmed emergency services are no longer in attendance.
Power to the lines has also returned, although the train operator says disruption is still expected.
Inrix adds delays of up to 40 minutes are on the cards from 11.40pm alongside some service cancellations.
Eurostar services are not believed to be affected by the incident.
