Engineers have been brought in to cut up a tree which was left strewn across a road.
It fell on the A252 in Challock earlier this afternoon.
Traffic was disrupted for a short while as the work got underway.
It comes as a weather warning is in place from the Met Office for Storm Gareth which started to hit last night.
