Two homes have been burgled in a town in a single day.
Between 3.45pm and 5.15pm on Saturday, December 14, a home on Highfield Road in Ashford was burgled. Gold jewellery, a quantity of cash, and a Nintendo Switch were some of the items reported stolen.
A second burglary was reported to have taken place between 11.30am and 6.40pm on the same day, at a property in Lynsted Close. Items including a Citizen watch, pearl earrings and gold jewellery were reported missing.
Detective Sergeant Robert Goodban of Kent Police said: "Currently we believe the two burglaries might be linked and officers are working to identify potential opportunities for further enquiries.
"If anyone saw anything suspicious in either area on Saturday, December 14, or has CCTV on their properties or dashcam footage installed in their cars which might assist, please call Kent Police on 01843 222289 quoting 46/238067/19 for Highfield Road, or 46/238022/19 for Lynsted Close."
Last month, a number of burglaries were experienced on Highfield Road.
On Tuesday, November 19 - between 6.45pm and 8.10pm - a property on the Willesborough street had a "quantity of jewellery" stolen.
While no suspects have been identified, police are asking anyone with information to call the above appeal number quoting 46/221882/19.
Another incident took place between 1pm and 4.15pm on Sunday, November 24. During this offence a separate quantity of jewellery was taken.
If you have any information, the force have asked you to call them citing the reference number 46/225616/19.
Referring to the latter two incidents, one of the street's residents - Jothish Mattathil - said at the time: "We're all living in fear.
"The other day a woman was at home by herself and her husband was at work. She saw a man trying the doors of their car and peering into the window.
"Any one of us could be next. Men women, children - we're all living in fear."
Kent Police suggests hiding expensive objects and keys from view, using timer switches to turn lights on periodically and making sure tools and garden items are locked away so they can't be stolen or used to enter the house.
