Firefighters in the town worked to put out fires in two cars reported alight in Ashford last night.
Two appliances from Ashford's Blue Watch responded to reports of a red Subaru on fire on a footpath off the A2070 between Hamstreet and the Bridgefield Road roundabout at around 8.30pm.
They worked for around half an hour to extinguish the blaze.
A further call was received at around 1.30am, after a green Rover 25 was reported ablaze in a field near John Lewis on Fougeres Way.
One appliance from Ashford entered the field via The Warren and was used to put out the fire, which took around one hour.
Police attended both incidents.
