An underpass in Ashford was taped off as part of a sexual assault investigation.
Police are investigating a report of an attack on the path between Ashford International station and the Designer Outlet.
The incident is reported to have happened at about 6am on Sunday.
The path, which runs beneath the railway line, was cordoned off on Sunday afternoon.
Police say inquiries are ongoing.
In 2019, Ashford Borough Council made plans to improve the dark walkway and transform it into an art trail.
Later that year, it was painted yellow and green to reflect the colours of the authority and Southern Railway.
