Sentimental garden statues stolen from Westwell, Ashford

A resident from Westwell is asking people to keep an eye out for a sentimental garden ornament that was stolen.
Julie Wooliston, who has lived on the outskirts of the village for more than two years, is believed to have had her beloved cast-iron stag statue, among others, stolen from her front garden between midnight and 2am yesterday.
She said: "I'm so angry, just the thought that somebody has been on my property and stolen my items that have been purchased through hard work.
"The stag was so precious to me because I had bought it with the inheritance money I was left after my nan died."
The stag stood in the middle of the turning circle on Ms Wooliston's drive.
She continued: "It took six people to place it on the turning circle when we first placed it there, so it must have taken that many to lift it off again and over our gates.
"I just want people to keep an eye out for it because it is sentimental to me and I just want it back."
As well as the stag, which is said to be worth around £600, smaller statues of a cockerel, piglet and a cow are also believed to have been stolen from the property.
