Paint thrown over Renault Clio in Mardol Road, Kennington

A 17-year-old's car has been targeted by vandals who threw paint over the vehicle.

The red Renault Clio - complete with L plates - was found daubed with a range of colours this morning, prompting the owners to put out a social media appeal for information.

It was targeted in Mardol Road, Kennington.

A police spokesman said: "We were called just after 6.30am to report a car had been vandalised in Mardol Road, Kennington.

"Initial inquiries are underway."
