For the second year running, a pair of blue tits have been raising their young in a bird box at the Ashford home of Linda Dodd.
And Linda, a keen photographer, has been taking a series of pictures of them – producing a delightful catalogue of their early lives.
Linda said: “These pictures were taken over the course of the last few weeks and show how quickly the young have grown from when I first saw the adults going into the nest box.
“Both parents started off healthy but one ended up very bald, but still kept going, feeding the young ones.
“There were three babies that I could see and they have all now taken flight as you can hear them in the trees nearby.”
