12:58, 29 September 2017
A range of dangerous equipment has been stolen from an archery club in Ashford.
The items included two generators, two petrol strimmers, arrows, a child’s jelly bow, three Samick recurve bows, and a Hoyt compound bow.
They were taken from the site in Warehorne between 10pm and 11pm on Monday.
The arrows are described as a mix of wood and carbon, and are personalised with names on them.
Sergeant Jason Atkinson said: "Training is required to be able to use these bows correctly and safely, and could be potentially dangerous if mishandled.
"Anyone with information regarding the incident, or if they are offered similar items to those stolen, is asked to contact Kent Police on 01843 222289 quoting ZY/45954/17."
Alternatively, you can call Kent Crimestoppers, anonymously, on 0800 555111.
