A young woman has been arrested on suspicion of drug-driving outside a school.
Police stopped her outside The Norton Knatchbull School in Hythe Road, Ashford, at 7pm on Saturday (November 2).
A strong emergency service response was reportedly seen in the area at the time the woman, aged in her 20s, was arrested.
A police spokesman said: "Officers on patrol in Ashford stopped a car in Hythe Road due to poor driving.
"A quantity of cannabis was seized and a 28-year-old woman was arrested on suspicion of drug driving.
"She has since been released on bail pending further inquiries."
