A woman was airlifted to hospital after falling from a horse and hitting her head.
Two ambulances and a car were sent to Bilsington, near Ashford, yesterday at 11.20am following reports a rider had fallen in a field off Priory Road.
However, due to the restricted access to the field, paramedics requested that the air ambulance also attend.
The rider, believed to be in her 40s, was suffering with upper arm and head injuries.
She was taken to the William Harvey Hospital in Ashford by air craft.
