Woman cut free from car in Appledore Road, near Ashford

A woman has been cut free from her car after becoming trapped inside the vehicle on a country road.
Two fire engines were called to reports of a crash involving two cars in Appledore Road, near Ashford at around 2.30pm this afternoon.
Firefighters used hydraulic rescue equipment to remove the roof of one vehicle, freeing one person trapped inside.
The woman was taken to hospital for precautionary checks.
Crews left the scene at around 3.30pm.
